Family fun in Egypt

An Egypt holiday appeals to both old and young travellers and its easier to see why: few places can boast so many examples of its ancient past, whilst alongside its modern attractions its easy to see why this is an extremely popular option for many.

A variety of packages are available from various companies, therefore there really is something for everyone from package tourists, group tour enthusiasts and of course independent travellers. You can snorkel, scuba dive, enjoy the beach or pool and simultaneously immerse yourself in history and culture.

As a family of four we opted for an October half term break, the draw being the convenient flight times from the UK, and the near enough guaranteed sunshine of an average 85F. Travel from the airport was accessible and easy, with a private taxi transfer awaiting our arrival and US dollars being the preferred currency.

The resort we chose was the Hurghada Aqua Blu on an all-inclusive basis, situated on the beach and boasting an impressive seven pools and nine waterslides. There really is something for everyone, so much so the kids were engrossed from the moment we arrived. The families personal favourite being the evening entertainment in the purpose built theatre.

Food and drink were extremely plentiful, from Oriental, Asian and buffet options, to swim up bars and snack kiosks, the children thought they were in heaven!

The staff in resort were amazing – their friendly and warm nature made us feel valued, and begging to return……

Please do let me know if you have any further questions, or this is the type of holiday which floats your boat, I would be more than happy to help See you soon.
