Rome

I recently returned from a trip to Rome and I must say it is one of the most wonderful cities I have ever travelled to. I pre-booked a hop on hop off bus trip that included ‘skip the line’ tickets into the Vatican, Colosseum and Sistine Chapel which I would highly recommend. The bus tour gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace and jump off for a cappuccino by the Spanish steps, lunch by the Trevi Fountain or wander through the wonderful streets with a Gelato!

I returned to the fountain a few times and one night saw a lovely wedding proposal at this romantic spot! As well as all the obvious historical sites, art galleries and museums, designer shops and sculptures I loved sitting in the outside bars and restaurants overlooking beautiful fountains with a glass of wine and people watch.

Rome I will return!
