This year was our second trip to Rhodes, we loved it so much the first time.
Rhodes town is one of my favourite places to wonder around, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a living tapestry of ancient walls, cobbled streets, and elegant architecture. Each visit feels like stepping onto the set of a historical drama, think medieval knights, colourful local markets, and secret courtyards blooming with bougainvillaea. Wander at your own pace and let the beauty of this walled city surprise you: hidden bars, rooftop terraces perfect for a sunset cocktail, and a gentle buzz that makes you want to linger at every turn.
A Coastline for Every Traveller.
One of Rhodes’ greatest joys is its extraordinary variety of beaches there truly is a patch of shoreline for every mood and moment. If you love snorkelling, you’ll be in heaven: many coves offer crystal-clear waters fringed by rocky outcrops and underwater reefs, where marine life flutters through the sun-dappled blue. Some of my fondest memories are spent slipping on a mask and discovering a hidden world just beneath the surface. Equally, if your idea of bliss is silky soft sand and gently lapping, shallow water (perfect for little feet or simply floating without a care), Rhodes delivers on that too. From the pebbly coves around Anthony Quinn Bay, beloved by snorkellers, to the cushiony sands of Tsambika and the tranquil, family-friendly stretches of Lindos, you really can tailor each day to suit your mood.
We particularly enjoy the Waterpark with its stunning views overlooking Faliraki, it is a well spread out park so it never feels crowded which for our daughter who has Autism it is a must!
