Prague
We stayed in a hotel in the Unicef World Heritage Area around the old square near the gothic cathedral really central for all the sights and sounds of this wonderful city.
With limited time to enjoy the Czech capital, we joined a walking tour of the city which covered all the main sights of the bridges and cathedral and the Jewish quarter and offered a free ghost tour on the evening. This ensured I didn’t sleep a wink that night!
I loved all the different beers and the cafe culture of the main squares.
TIP: Trams are inexpensive and a good alternative to the more costly taxis to run you up the hill to the St. Vitus Cathedral.
