Hi, my name is Greg, I am a Travel Counsellor based in Hertfordshire and travel is my passion!

I am a specialist in long haul leisure and corporate travel. I have over 25 years of experience arranging tailor made itineraries to all corners of the globe. I have worked across all airline cabin classes including First and Business. This has enabled me to build a wealth of knowledge for all things travel.

I have been fortunate enough in my career to visit over 120 different countries and all 7 continents extensively.

I am often asked what is my favourite destination or highlight, it's hard to pick one as they are all amazing for different reasons. From swimming with Manta rays in the Maldives to sea kayaking in Antarctica, quad biking on the sand dunes in Namibia to snapping polar bears in the Arctic, trekking in Nepal to micro-lighting in Australia. The list goes on. If you want to go there, chances are I may have been there. First-hand knowledge from an expert will always beat trawling through the internet!

As part of the new breed of 'smartworkers' I am able to dedicate my time your needs. My aim is to exceed the expectations of my clients. All advice I offer is completely impartial and I have access to great offers across the industry, from leading airlines, hotels, car hire, cruise lines and many specialist tour operators.

As a father of a young daughter, I decided to start her travel experiences from an early age. By the time she was six she had been to 40 different countries! Therefore, I have become a bit of an expert in the family holiday market, but am equally at home booking your cruise, honeymoon, road trip across the USA, dream trip to Australia or New Zealand, luxury Indian Ocean beach break, Asian delight, South American highlight or European city stopover. The world is a big place and I know it well.

For over 10 years I have used the travel services provided by Greg Caras many times for travel to Europe but mainly for long-haul trips to New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. The service provided by Greg is EXCELLENT and I would certainly not use any other Travel Counsellor/agent or advisor. Greg's attention to detail is reassuring. Because Greg provides a personal service he is generally available 24/7 should the need arise. He is always very prompt replying to my enquiries, which is normally, by return. He is well informed and his knowledge of the travel business is extensive having spent over 20 years in the industry, I believe. Finally, he is a very nice guy. He his friendly and polite has a great sense of humour and is really easy to deal with. Dear Greg I just wanted to thank you again for organising this amazing trip for our family. I kept losing my hope that we were ever going to get there but you kept me going by doing everything you could to make it happen. I have lost count how many times we rebooked the flights and changed dates due to all the difficulties with rules changing so quickly during the pandemic. If it was not for you keeping my holiday spirit going I would have given up. We made it! We had an amazing time and everything went really smoothly because you paid so much attention to every detail. We appreciated your friendly and knowledgeable advice about the region, its sights and where to stay. All of the accommodation that you recommended was superb in every way. You exceeded our brief in finding first class hotels within our proposed budget. Each of the transfers that you had arranged worked like clockwork and we had none of the usual "travel anxiety" that comes with visiting new and far away locations.
