Hello! I’m Helen – Your trusted Personal Travel Concierge and Tour Operator based in Laxey, Isle of Man.

I specialise in curating and crafting tailor-made, authentic, multi centre and luxury travel experiences for fussy travel lovers in the Isle of Man and the UK.

With over 30 years in travel and aviation, you're in the hands of an experienced professional and true travel aficionado. My career started at Japan Airlines as cabin crew, where I learned the art of customer experience including looking after royalty and VIPs - this passion for service continues to be at the heart of everything I do. I later managed new product development projects for Thomas Cook Airlines before setting up my business as a Travel Counsellor in 2017.

My own adventures have taken me across the globe – including Japan where I worked for several years, South America, USA, Africa, Indian Ocean, Middle East, Caribbean, Australia, Scandinavia and even Azerbaijan. As an avid aviation geek, I’m often spotted with my binoculars at the edge of the runway soaking in the jet fuel.

I just wanted to take a minute to send you a huge thank you for organising our trip to Vietnam. It really was the holiday of a lifetime as it’s been on my bucket list for so long and it didn’t disappoint! Although I must admit it took a few days for me to realise that I didn’t need to worry about a thing, it soon became clear that your meticulous planning meant me, ‘the usual organiser’, could fully relax and take it all in. Every time we had an internal journey or a sightseeing trip our tickets would magically appear on the App or email and a driver would be there waiting for us at the notified time. Not once did we worry we’d been forgotten. Your local contact Ha Chloe was also in touch throughout, sending WhatsApp messages to check we had arrived at our various locations and forwarding welcome restaurant and shopping recommendations. Vietnam was a beautiful country and we really had a fantastic time. So once again Helen thank you so much for everything, I can’t wait to see where our next adventure will be … but know I’ll be in touch!

On Thursday we decided we needed a holiday in March, last minute as usual. I emailed Helen on Friday with my wish list which is always quite specific, spoke to her on Saturday morning and by Saturday evening she had put together exactly what we wanted and it was booked. As always fantastic service. Our last trip ended in a bit of a disaster with long flight delays and missing our IOM flight but Helen fixed it all and took all the stress out of it so she was our first choice when booking this trip. If you want excellent, fast, efficient service with all the hassle and stress taken off your shoulders, I would highly recommend Helen. Thanks again Helen, I can’t wait for my trip of a lifetime.

We have just returned for our trip of a lifetime to Lapland. Helen listened to our requirements and put together the perfect package for us. We stayed in a glass igloo and were picked up and taken to stunning locations for a husky safari, reindeer sleigh ride and an aurora hunting trip. After doing lots of research we didn’t want the short taster sessions offered by some other tour operators, nor the too commercial Santa based holiday and I’m so glad we didn’t! Travelling in the snow into the wilderness, meeting and learning about the huskies and reindeer were the highlights of the trip for us. Each was a half day experience, didn’t feel rushed and we felt so welcomed by the Finnish guides. The igloo was so warm and cosy and I can’t explain how magical it was to live and sleep under the stars. As we have three children aged 8,11 and 14, Helen ensured that we had a morning free to visit Santa, which was an unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend Helen enough, I’ve already had friends ask for her details after seeing our pictures.

It’s the second time we have used Helen Parker Travel Counsellor and she did not disappoint. Italy was just beautiful. Perfect flights, airport experience, lounge booking, private airport transfer (with air conditioning), hotel (fabulous), split trip (the kids came with us for one week and then we had another week alone) and communication throughout.
