This stunning, large-scale exhibition by Dale Chihuly, activated in two iconic Arizona locations, showcases the American glass sculptor’s masterpieces which draw on color and light from the surrounding desert. • View an exhibition of handmade, clay floral sculptures displayed among thousands of beautiful butterflies as part of “Art in Bloom” at Butterfly Wonderland. Capturing the movement of nature, these sculptures are handcrafted by local Phoenix artist Jim Holbert of 3BoxStudios specifically for Butterfly Wonderland and are free to see with admission. • Head indoors and beat the heat at The Musical Instrument Museum, with family-friendly events like “Musical Icons: Women in Jazz” June 11 and 12, and live music during the Summer Concert Series, running May 16 – Sept. 7.
