This all-suite property has a plum position on the island’s lively south coast and direct access to a half-kilometre of stunning white-sand beach – one where you might be lucky enough to see sea turtles nesting their eggs, and where you can also enjoy boogie boarding, kayaking and Hobie cats as part of your comprehensive package.

Barbados is a great destination for families, with activities including seeing the sparkling crystallised formations of Harrisons Cave by electric tram ride, viewing a shipwreck and reef life on a deep dive with Atlantis Submarines, and taking to the high seas with a catamaran cruise, with stop-offs to swim or snorkel close to turtles if they come near the moorings.

For independent exploring, Turtle Beach is less than a 10-minute walk from lively St Lawrence Gap and just 20 minutes from Bridgetown, the fascinating Bajan capital.  You’re also just a few minutes from the scenic Barbados Golf Club should you fancy a round or two or even some tuition.
