The brand new OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi opened to customers on 19th May but before the general public were able to enjoy the playful new all-inclusive resort, a collection of Travel Counsellors stayed there for one of our Gold Weekends to get a firsthand experience of what our customers have got to look forward to.

The beach villas were gorgeous and walked right out onto the soft sand. We loved enjoying a morning coffee on the sun loungers, looking straight out to the stunning blue waters that you can only expect from the Maldives.
It was awesome, the staff were amazing and so lovely. I had my birthday there and the staff did so much - they made a cake, sang to me and put roses everywhere! Honestly, I was blown away by the hospitality.
The staff were so friendly and genuinely happy and wanting to make our experience a good one which they did.
The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you, Ashmal was so attentive and made sure our drinks were topped up at all times – always with a huge smile on his face!
The food at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi was absolutely amazing. Element X is the main all day dining buffet restaurant with a fabulous choice of different cuisines and live cooking stations. I was really impressed by the quality and freshness of the food, skilfully created with some wonderful flavours. I really loved the chilled section (in its own air-conditioned room!) with a mouth-watering selection of salads, cold items, desserts, fresh fruits and ice cream. X360 Bar has the friendliest bar staff you will ever meet and a fabulous array of delicious cocktails - I can highly recommend the passion fruit daiquiri!
There is such a variety of food to choose from, no two nights were the same. Grab a cocktail and head to the beach to watch the stunning sunsets at the end of your day – the perfect finish to any day in paradise.
