Day 1: Arrival in Bogota

Meet your private transfer to the historic centre, La Candelaria, and explore this characterful neighbourhood at your leisure.

Day 2: Bogota

Visit the Dream Centre Bogota non-profit community foundation and watch a weaving workshop, then enjoy a city walking tour.

Day 3: Medellin

Travel to Colombia’s second-largest city and soak in attractions such as the Museo de Antioquia of art and antiquities.

Day 4: Medellin

Ride the cable car over the city and visit the once-infamous Comuna 13 neighbourhood, now a place of peaceful optimism.

Day 5: Guatape & El Peñol

Discover the colourful village of Guatape then climb the granite monolith of El Peñol beside a vast, island-dotted lake.

Day 6: Santa Marta

Tour the oldest city in Colombia with its perfect combination of pristine Caribbean beaches and compelling heritage.

Day 7: Tayrona National Park

Hike or horse-ride to see monkeys in this reserve, and bathe/snorkel in the natural pool of La Piscina.

Day 8: Cartagena

Amble around this UNESCO World Heritage listed city marrying a rich colonial history with a lively Caribbean atmosphere.

Day 9: Cartagena

Take a canoe tour through the mangroves of La Boquilla fishing village and visit the Batambura music project for social empowerment.

Day 10: Majagua Island

Travel by traditional motorised canoe to spend a day and night on this otherworldly secluded island in the Isla Rosario chain.

Day 11: Cartagena

Return to the city (enjoying a glorious panoramic view of it from the boat) and explore further at your leisure.

Day 12: Departure
