Sporty couples love this resort for its water activities and non-motorised water sports, which include windsurfing, paddleboarding, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling, and pedal boating. There’s also a PADI Dive Centre offering tuition, certification, and outings to notable local dive sites, and a house reef for diving, and snorkelling adventures (including by night, for a new perspective) closer to the resort.

Other fantastic facilities include a beachfront infinity pool and a fabulous wellbeing area including SPA Cenvaree, where its healing huts come with outdoor balconies with spectacular Indian Ocean views. The experiences on offer here are inspired by Ayurvedic and Thai healing traditions, ranging from single treatments to multi-day programmes for full-on rejuvenation.

Dining at Centara Ras Fushi

Food is a highlight of this resort. We love all its venues, but perhaps the most magical experiences are the private dining on the beach beneath the sky - including the option of private sand sofas. Also oozing romance is Al Khaimah, a Bedouin-style tent in the island’s garden, serving Arabian fare cuisine, the Thai and Italian restaurants Suan Bua and La Brezza with their terraces wide open to the Indian Ocean, and Viu Bar with its light bites and catamaran nets strung over the water.
