This brilliant trip again taking in Greece, Turkey and Jerusalem includes a stop-off in Crete, where opportunities to get under the skin of the island include a guided hike to Kolokytha (‘Pumpkin’) island on the Spinalonga Peninsula, embracing a visit to idyllic little Saint Luke Beach with its white sands shaded by tamarisks and snacks and drinks at an authentic local taverna. Another great option on Crete is trip to Knossos Palace, one of the most important palaces of the Minoan civilisation and the seat of the legendary King Minos.

29 November 2023, Silver Moon, 11 days

This Greece, Egypt, Jerusalem and Turkey itinerary includes stop-offs in Crete and Rhodes, where amazing experiences include a tour of the former’s Renaissance Agia Triada Monastery (which produces a revered olive oil and several varieties of wine), Venizelos Tombs (resting place of the Greek statesman Eleftherios Venizelos and his son Sophocles) and the charming old town of Chania. In Rhodes, you can also take part in a pottery workshop, making your own vase to take away with you.
