Amadeus Elegant’s smaller size means she can reach ports larger ships can’t. Following her inaugural cruise up the Danube from Budapest, she’ll explore the stunning scenery along the Moselle and Saar. These two rivers wind their way from France into Germany, and feature steep-sided valleys dotted with castles, pretty towns and vineyards, which you can admire from the deck.
The ship has four decks, including a spacious outside Sun Deck at the top of the ship, which is the perfect place to relax and take in the passing scenery as you gently cruise to the next destination. There are plenty of loungers and shaded areas, and a Lido bar to enjoy your all-inclusive drinks. The three other passenger decks are named after famous Austrian composers – Haydn, Mozart, and Strauss – and can be accessed by a small lift. It’s easy to find your way around the ship, which also includes a restaurant, two lounges, a fitness and wellness area and a small shop.
