Boutique-style and adult-only, this ground-breaking contemporary cruise line by the famous brand – launched in 2021 - includes some tempting European sailings in summer 2023 aboard its brand-new ships Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady.

From 7/10-night sailings out of Virgin’s Mediterranean home port of Athens with overnighters in Mykonos to 7-night Mediterranean voyages now featuring extended days to explore Rome, Virgin Voyages itineraries are a brilliant way to see some of the highlights of Western civilisation while indulging, letting your hair down and being as active or as laidback as you choose – or a mixture of the two.

Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady

The third ship in the fleet will launch in May 2023 with her inaugural Athens Mermaiden voyage and spend the rest of summer sailing around the Med on a series of 7- and 8-night voyages, Adriatic and Greek island-hopping through hot spots including Santorini, Rhodes, Mykonos, Catania and Palma de Mallorca as well as taking in other delightful destinations.

The many Greek Island Glow cruises, for instance, feature stops on Santorini, Rhodes, Crete and Mykonos. Like Virgin’s other ships, Resilient Lady will offer 20-plus intimate eateries, unlimited fitness classes, tips and soft drinks in your package.

Virgin Voyages’ fourth vessel is also scheduled to make her debut in 2023 and will follow the look and feel of her sister ‘boutique hotels at sea’ Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady. This ship is due to set sail around the Caribbean, with more itineraries to be announced later next year…

What to Expect on a Virgin Voyage

Like the rest of the fleet, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady have the luxurious feel of sleek yachts, an array of convivial spaces designed by some of the star names in contemporary interiors, and thrilling entertainment with festival-like line-ups in consultation with groundbreaking producers, directors, choreographers and artists.

There’s also a focus on wellbeing, relaxation and rejuvenation on these ships, through cutting-edge facilities and activities that include an Aquatic Club, a Build & Balance gym and yoga studio, outdoor boxing and HIIT sessions, an alfresco jogging track and even curated hikes at ports. Completing the wellness picture are a pampering spa with a mudroom, and juice bars serving protein boosters and other pick-me-ups.

The rest of Virgin’s onboard dining offering includes menus by a Michelin-starred chef collective and ditches buffets and pre-set dining times in favour of made-to-order food and leisurely brunches in 20+ unique eateries – all of them included in your package. Choose from steakhouses, a Korean barbecue, an international food market and even a cooking lab, and expect vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options in every venue. Also included are essential drinks such as still and sparkling water, non-pressed juices, sodas, teas and drip coffee.
