Stay at Blue Waters Resort & Spa, Antigua this Spring

This long-established resort has three enchanting restaurants, of which the most romantic is clifftop Cove in its candlelit hall with flaming torches and sea views, serving Caribbean and French fusion cuisine. Additionally, the resort has a variety of all-inclusive options and accommodation types available varying from rooms and suites to cottages and villas, perfect for larger groups (whether it be a family holiday or getaway with friends).

Come here and soak in some of its famous ‘Laid Back’ luxury service, dispensed by the kind of staff who know your name within a couple of days of arriving – including the kids if you’re travelling as a family. A new attraction for the latter is the kids’ club manager Ainsley, who came to the resort early this year and is adored by younger guests and parents alike for her energy and enthusiasm.

Outside school holidays, Blue Waters is all about couples of all ages enjoying the serene, romantic ambiance. The spacious Cove Suites come complete with their own infinity pools and dedicated concierge, and couples can experience a wide array of activities ranging from yoga and sunset Pilates to wine tastings with the resident sommelier Jason and rum tastings with Tario.

Of the three enchanting restaurants at Blue Waters,  French-Caribbean cuisine is served from a recently revamped menu. All of the food here is now overseen by new chef Michael Harrison, who joined last year from Oceans hotels and been key in opening the new restaurant by the beach, The Reef, in October. It serves a light menu including salads and flatbreads, served to your lounger by the pool or on the beach should you so desire.
