The all-villa accommodation

Villas at One&Only Reethi Rah come in a choice of stilted overwater and beach options, the former with split-level verandas with steps down into the Indian Ocean, while the latter open out onto their own stretch of sand. Many of them have private infinity pools for that added touch of seclusion.

Paired with the resort’s charming, rustic wood-and-thatch buildings, you’ll find clean-lined, contemporary interiors. The Residences are the largest, sleeping up to ten people in three bedrooms and are available with private chefs by request. One even has its own outdoor cinema.

The little extras

When you’re not relaxing beneath one of the Missoni-designed parasols (part of a limited time partnership with the iconic Italian fashion house) on one of the resort’s 12 powder-soft beaches, you can get active at the beach club, the dive centre, the climbing wall, or the FIFA-approved football pitch. Alternatively, improve your art skills in a class at the artist’s corner.

Don’t miss the award-winning holistic spa, which includes the Maldives’ first watsu pool (for aquatic massages), as well as relaxation gardens, 14 treatment villas, a yoga and meditation pavilion, a steam room, a sauna, a vitality pool, and a mani-pedi studio.

The resort also has three pools – one for adults, one for families, and one lap pool stretching out into the lagoon. Water sports are available at the resort, plus there are some amazing excursions run by the expert concierge team, including dolphin cruises and whale shark expeditions, private boat and yacht charters, and tailored fishing trips.
