Sun, sea, and seclusion in the Maldives

What’s included

There are all-inclusive stays and there’s Sun Siyam’s Premium All-Inclusive Plan. Fill your days with exciting activities and excursions, from a trip to a local island to experience daily Maldivian life and a dolphin sunset cruise to kayaking, guided snorkelling, and even windsurfing lessons. You’ll also get jet ski credit of $50 per adult per stay.

When you’re ready to kick back and replenish your energy stores, you’ll have access to superb drinking and dining in six restaurants and bars, indulgent daily afternoon teas, and a daily-replenished minibar. To take the relaxation up a notch, this plan also includes a credit of $100 for a treatment in the sensational spa, with its overwater treatment pavilions and products formulated with natural ingredients.

Don't fancy the spa? You can enjoy up to 3 regular dives* per person per week as an alternative to Spa Credit.

Memory-making moments

This barefoot resort in the remote South Nilandhe/Dhaalu Atoll, just a 40-minute spectacular seaplane ride from Malé (where you can relax in a complimentary air-conditioned lounge with refreshments while awaiting your transfer), is sheer heaven for honeymooners and couples. Just some of the hedonistic experiences on offer include outdoor cinema screenings under the star-studded sky, floating breakfasts in your private pool, and sommelier-led tastings of some of the world’s finest vintages in the wine cellar.

You can escape even further from it all with a castaway sandbank experience. Spend a day luxuriating on a private, quiet white-sand beach, gazing out over the turquoise lagoon, which you will have all to yourselves. Why not go snorkelling before tucking into a bespoke picnic basket prepared by the resort chefs or savouring a seafood grill.

Sustainability at Sun Siyam

Iru Veli is part of the 100% locally owned and run Sun Siyam Group, whose forward-thinking founder, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, is passionate about supporting local communities and sustainability. Indeed, Iru Veli holds the Travelife certification for its green initiatives.

Much of this work (energy and water use reduction, waste management to reduce plastic use, support for community development, investment in renewable energy, conservation, and the preservation of local heritage and culture) goes on behind the scenes, but you can see it in action with a trip to one of Sun Siyam’s farm islands.

These farms grow nearly 40 types of fruits and vegetables, including coconuts, papayas, cucumbers, and tomatoes, which provides both an income for local communities and helps reduce Iru Veli’s carbon footprint. If you visit Llohi, for instance, you can chat with the farmers about their work before tasting their wares (many of which are organic) at the freshest of lunches served at the farm itself.
