The ultimate guide to a dream Disney holiday in 2024

Book by 28th March 2024 for selected packages and dates between 4th March and 30th September 2024 and you can get up to four nights’ complimentary accommodation in certain Walt Disney World  Resort hotels, enjoying Disney and Pixar themed decor, swimming pools with slides and water activities, fantastic dining experiences, and free transport to the theme parks.

Bookings by 29 August 2024 (with or without a Walt Disney World  Resort hotel stay, and for arrivals between 9th January and 30th September 2024) also get you Disney 14-Day Magic  Tickets for the price of seven days, giving you double the amount of time to immerse yourselves in all that theme park and water park fun, from classic attractions to new adventures such as the breathtaking TRON Lightcycle/RUN rollercoaster and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Disney Magic  Tickets are better value than tickets that you buy at the gate as they come with a host of fantastic benefits, such as Park Hopper access and Memory Maker. The latter gives you unlimited downloads of your family’s magical moments captured by Disney PhotoPass photographers.

New for Walt Disney World  Resort in 2024 are the return of Disney’s Dining Plan, plus all-day park-hopping. The first is a prepaid meal package you can add to your stay, allowing you to budget your daily outgoings. The second means that with the Park Hopper access included in your Disney Magic Tickets, you won’t have to wait until 2pm to swap from one venue to another as used to be the case.

And where to start when you get here? The first of the Walt Disney World  theme parks was Magic Kingdom  Park, which debuted in 1971 and includes many of the classic Disney attractions, including 'it’s a small world’ – a quirky boat ride past singing children from around the world - the Haunted Mansion, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. It’s also home to the iconic Cinderella Castle, which is the gateway to Fantasy Land where you’ll find TRON Lightcycle/Run.

The movie-themed Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the location of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge® with its rides and experiences putting you at the heart of the action of the ‘Galaxy Far, Far Away’. Other much-loved zones here include Toy Story Land, and there’s also brilliant live entertainment, including the popular For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, tours and events, and immersive dining experiences galore.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom  Theme Park is no less than the world’s largest theme park. Highlights include jungle trails, high-speed thrills in lands such as Pandora – The World of Avatar, and fabulous flotillas with Disney characters.

Dating back to the early 1980s, when it opened as the second Walt Disney World  resort, EPCOT  is based on a series of geodesic globes exploring global culture, space, and the future. Among its big attractions are a NASA-style space shuttle simulator, a hang-gliding adventure to famous places around the globe, and Space 220 Restaurant.
