Day 1-4: Sydney

Ease into your adventure as you arrive in Sydney. Your three-night stay at the Shangri-La places you right in the heart of the harbour, where floor-to-ceiling windows showcase magical views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

On day two, let the city draw you in with an included guided walk through The Rocks. Stroll cobblestone laneways, uncovering Sydney’s colonial past and modern culture.

Day three takes you on a full tour of the Blue Mountains. Breathe in the eucalyptus-scented air as your guide introduces you to sandstone cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and some of Australia’s unique wildlife.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on your final morning in Sydney before your private transfer to Oceania Riviera. Step aboard and settle into your sanctuary at sea and participate in a welcome reception or guided ship tour to get familiar with the ship’s amenities. As evening falls, the ship departs beneath the iconic Harbour Bridge, marking the start of your ocean voyage.

Day 5: At Sea

Your first day at sea is all about finding your rhythm. Perhaps join a yoga session in the fitness centre, spend time in the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Centre, or enjoy a relaxed afternoon tea while gazing out over the endless blue. Master chefs are on hand with exquisite options ranging from French classics at Jacques to sushi at Red Ginger.

Day 6: Brisbane

Wake up to the energy of Brisbane’s scenic riverside. Spend the day discovering South Bank’s riverside parklands, restaurants, and cultural attractions like the Queensland Art Gallery. Browse charming boutiques in the city’s Fortitude Valley or unwind with a coffee and a good book at a sunny café overlooking the Brisbane River. As the sun sets, return to the ship and toast the day with a cocktail on deck, watching the city lights fade as you continue your journey south.

Day 7: At Sea

Savour the unhurried rhythm of life on board. Take in an enrichment lecture, try your hand at a creative workshop, or enjoy a quiet moment in the library. However you spend your day, the attentive crew ensures every detail is taken care of.

Day 8: Whitsunday Island (Airlie Beach)

Today brings you to the edge of the Whitsundays, with dazzling views of turquoise water and white sand. Spend the day as you wish; relax on board, take a stroll through the waterfront village of Airlie Beach, or dive beneath the waves to snorkel coral gardens teeming with colourful marine life on the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 9: Cairns

Arrive in sun-drenched Cairns, where rainforest meets reef and the pace of life slows to a tropical hum. Take a stroll along the lively Esplanade, dip into the city’s local artisan markets, or cool off with a swim in the waterfront lagoon. For a quieter escape, venture into the nearby botanical gardens or simply relax on deck and soak up the warm Queensland breeze. However you choose to spend your time, Cairns offers a laid-back welcome with plenty of charm.

Day 10: Cooktown

Step back in time in Cooktown, where First Nations heritage meets tales of maritime exploration. Visit the James Cook Museum to learn about the town’s pivotal role in his 1770 voyage, stroll the heritage-listed waterfront, or take in sweeping coastal views from Grassy Hill Lookout. For nature lovers, nearby trails offer a chance to explore tropical rainforest and spot local wildlife, before returning to the comfort of Oceania Riviera.

Day 11-12: At Sea

Spend two relaxing days at sea perhaps by taking part in a hands-on cooking demonstration, unwinding at the sauna, or joining friends for an elevated Tuscan dinner at Toscana.

Day 13: Darwin

Darwin draws you in with laid-back charm and a fascinating blend of Indigenous heritage and frontier history. Spend the day exploring at your own pace, wander the lively Waterfront precinct, browse the stalls at the Mindil Beach Sunset Market, or discover local stories at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Then, return to the ship for a well-earned evening of relaxation.

Day 14: At Sea

Settle in and soak up the refined elegance of Oceania Riviera as she glides toward the Indonesian archipelago. Discover the ship’s impressive art collection, browse the boutique shops, or unwind poolside with a refreshing cocktail in hand. As the day fades, enjoy the ambience of the ship’s lounges, where live music and expertly crafted drinks as anticipation for Bali builds.

Day 15: Komodo

Spend some time soaking in the scenery as you approach Komodo, whether from the comfort of your private balcony or the ship’s upper deck for panoramic views of the islands scattered across the ocean. The day is yours to explore: embark on a guided tour of Komodo National Park, where you might encounter the legendary Komodo dragons, or dive into vibrant coral reefs teeming with colourful fish, graceful manta rays, and curious sea turtles for an unforgettable snorkelling experience.

Day 16: Celukan Bawang

Savour your first taste of Bali as you dock at Celukan Bawang. Soak in the charm of northern Bali, browse lively artisan markets, or indulge in authentic Balinese dishes like fragrant nasi goreng or tender, smoky satay skewers grilled to perfection.

Day 17-18: Benoa

Disembark at Benoa and transfer to Ubud for two nights at Adiwana Bisma Resort. Delve into your included Three Temples Small Group Tour, guided by a local expert who brings the history and spirituality of these sacred sites to life.

Later, unwind in the resort’s peaceful surroundings or take a gentle wander through Ubud’s leafy lanes, where artisan boutiques, open-air cafés, and hidden temples sit alongside galleries showcasing everything from traditional Balinese painting to contemporary sculpture and woodcarving. It’s a chance to connect with the island’s creative spirit and cultural heart.

Day 19-21: Seminyak
