Travel has always been a huge part of who I am. My passion for seeing the world started early. I still remember the excitement of my school trip to Russia! That sense of curiosity and adventure never left me and by my twenties I decided to take the plunge and backpack solo around the world for 16 incredible months. From bustling cities and remote mountain villages to quiet beaches where time seemed to stand still. Every moment taught me something new about cultures, people and myself.

Those experiences changed the way I see travel. That it's not just about ticking off destinations but the stories you collect along the way, the people you meet, the food you try and the memories that say with you long after you've unpacked your bags.

Now, as a mum of three, I've loved sharing that same spirit of adventure with my family with extended trips to Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia; creating memories that will last a lifetime. Seeing the world through their eyes has been magical and it's reminded me how travel can bring families closer together with the shared experience.

Over the years, one thing I've discovered about myself is how much I enjoy the planning side of the trip. I love diving into the details, researching the best routes, finding those hidden gems and putting itineraries together that flow seamlessly. For me, half the joy is in making sure everything is thoughtfully organised so that when you travel, you can relax knowing that nothing has been left to chance.
