Hello, I’m Jo, your personal Travel Counsellor based in Manchester.

Travel has been at the heart of my life and career since I left school and joined an independent travel agency. It was there that I discovered my passion for designing thoughtful, exciting itineraries and helping clients experience the very best of the world.

Over the last 18 years, I have worked across many sides of the travel industry, from front-line retail to tour operations. As a VIP Department Team Leader, I specialised in France, Ireland, Disney, and European and worldwide city breaks, as well as supporting clients through our Duty Office with any in-resort issues. This has given me a deep understanding not only of beautiful destinations, but also of how to make sure every trip runs smoothly behind the scenes.

I have been fortunate to travel extensively throughout Europe, from the Balearic and Canary Islands to many of the Greek Islands, including living in Zakynthos in my younger days. Vienna and Budapest are two of my favourite cities, and I also love Paris, Amsterdam and Stockholm for their culture, food and atmosphere. Further afield, I fell in love with the dramatic beauty of the French Alps and the breathtaking landscapes of Canada, including Niagara Falls, Banff, Lake Louise and the vibrant city of Toronto. Closer to home, I have explored both Northern and Southern Ireland, discovering charming towns, coastal drives and warm hospitality.

At home, I live in Manchester with my partner, who has worked in the travel industry for over 35 years, my rugby-mad 17-year-old son, and our three rescue cats: Ophelia, Bear and our newest addition, little Florence. Family life means I understand how precious your time and holidays are, whether you are planning a special celebration, a much-needed family break, or a quick escape to recharge.
