Good Energy with Neilson Holidays
It is the first time we have been to Levante Beach Cub with Neilson and also a first to Rhodes – and actually a first time flying from Bournemouth!
Levante beach club sits on a long stretch of pebble beach close to the resort of Kolympia where there is a large choice of bars and restaurants.
The spacious accommodation and fantastic facilities are shared with guests from Sweden and Denmark.
The Neilson ream run the watersports, cycling and tennis programmes along with the kids clubs. Powered by Playitas take care of the hotel, hospitality, padel and fitness programmes.
They also provide the coach for the padel clinics – having tried and loved pickleball last year at Neilson’s Messini Beach Club, we thought we would give Padel a go this time – we loved it (almost as much as pickleball) and Emil (an English speaking Swede) the coach was a genius!
The resort has 6 swimming pools – including a large free-form family pool (good depth for Aquafit!), an adult pool and a pool next to the beach bar with sea views!
As ever, the activities were professionally run and provided a good mix for all abilities. Geoff improved his wing foiling skills and enjoyed the windsurfing as well as padel and tennis. We both joined the MTB rides, particularly the one to Anthony Quinn Bay – a highlight!
The SUP tour to a local beach front café was a delightful way of passing a morning!
As we were there for 2 weeks, I did manage to drag Geoff away from the water and we took a local bus to Rhodes town for a morning. Well worth it – the well preserved medieval old town, surrounded by a 4km wall is a maze of cobbled streets, squares and bazaars.
The buffet breakfasts, lunches and 4 evening meals were superb with plenty of choice. The puddings were way too good!!!!
And plenty of time on the sunbeds too – I think I read 3 books!
We have been to many of the Neilson beach clubs but so far I think this one has to be our favourite and we will be returning.
