Hi, I’m Julie and I’m a Travel Counsellor based near Cheltenham in the Cotswolds. Having worked in the travel and sports hospitality industry for over 25 years, I am an experienced tour operator and business and leisure travel manager, well versed in every aspect of local and International travel.

As well as devising exciting, bespoke itineraries, romantic honeymoons, action-packed multi destination holidays and handling last minute business travel arrangements, I have also managed and specialised in International sports group travel.

For 10 years I organised and led VIP supporters tours to various international sporting events including rugby, cricket, horseracing, tennis and golf, and have travelled extensively as a result to the Far East, Hong Kong, USA, Australia, New Zealand and across Europe.

I was more recently Travel Manager for the USA Men's National rugby team (Eagles) having organised the travel for their last 2 tours to Europe and South America.

Without doubt, travel is my passion in life and I am delighted to be working as an independent travel counsellor with the invaluable support of a head office that enables me to provide around-the-clock service to my clients. The last 2 years have been challenging but also incredibly encouraging helping customers throughout this period and am very proud to belong to a wonderful organisation now voted by Martin Lewis as the best agency in UK dealing with refunds and Covid issues.

What is more, I am also part of our global network of experienced Travel Counsellors who are readily at hand to provide the very latest destination advice and incomparable local knowledge: from that ‘go to’ restaurant, to those special little places not so widely known to the mainstream tourist market.

My own favourite destinations include the glittering slopes and après-ski glamour of Zermatt, the sparkling Amalfi Coast and the warm, soothing beaches of Barbados. My recent city break favourites have got to be New York for its high energy and sophistication; and beautiful Copenhagen for its charm, that famous Danish ‘hygge’ and a cosy café I recommend in winter for the most deliciously warming glass of gløgg.
