Hello, I’m Karen, your personal Travel Counsellor and I am here to turn your travel dreams into memorable, meaningful adventures.

With a lifelong curiosity about the world, I yearn for journeys that feel out of the ordinary, whether it's a short hop from home or a long-haul adventure. I am especially drawn to places where you can experience local culture first hand and connect with the people and stories that make a destination unique. For me, travel is as much about conversations over coffee, shared experiences and chance encounters as it is about famous views and landmarks.

Some of my most vivid memories are from South America, particularly Bolivia and Peru: scaling Huayna Picchu and looking down over magical Machu Picchu; wandering though the white walled streets of Arequipa; navigating the chaos of La Paz and descending into a working Bolivian mine to meet the miners, taking coca leaves as a small gesture of thanks and respect. Closer to home, the experience of sailing through the Norwegian Fjords and the stunning islands of the Stockholm archipelago will stay with me forever. These kinds of journeys, where culture, scenery, people and emotion all weave together, shape the way I design holidays for my clients.

I believe that extraordinary experiences can be found both near and far and I love a city break. Ask me, I am always happy to introduce people to places that feel fresh and surprising.

Timisoara, Romania. Often compared to Vienna but with far fewer crowds, filled with pastel squares, quirky cafes and a vibrant creative arts scene.
Tblisi, Georgia. A vibrant food and wine culture meets strong local traditions including the sulphur baths where locals love to meet and chat to visitors and Narikala Fortress which you can visit by cable car to take in stunning views of the old town.
Trieste, Italy. You can enjoy a seafront stroll and visit the grand coffee houses in a city shaped by Italian, Slavic and Austro-Hungarian influences.

One activity which brings people together is cruising. I love the rhythm of unpacking once and waking up each day somewhere new to explore. My own bucket list dream is an expedition cruise that combines remote landscapes and remarkable wildlife with expert guides and the comfort of being beautifully looked after on board.
