My name is Kerri and I am a Travel Counsellor based in Norwich, where I live with my husband and two boys, Dexter and Bobby.
My passion for travel began when I was a child. We were taken on some incredible holidays including Australia, Florida, Spain and many more. As a teenager I spent many lessons planning travel routes in my homework planner and naturally went on to study travel and tourism at college. I settled on a career in travel, starting off as a resort rep for First Choice and I've now worked in the travel industry for 12 years and within various roles of the industry.
I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge and experience to help you make your travel dreams a reality. I have worked and travelled to many different destinations from the Caribbean to the Far East as well as Europe. I have done the typical 'fly and flop' and enjoyed many a days on a sandy beach with a cocktail in hand and these days I enjoy the luxury, but I have also been adventurous off the beaten track and in hostels. I have travelled on my own, as a couple and also with two young children on long and short haul flights and I've also cruised. I would love to share with you all of my tips from my first hand experience.
I joined Travel Counsellors not only for my own flexibility but for yours too and am happy to chat outside of typical working hours. I pride myself on my professionalism, enthusiasm and an excellent level of customer service in order to give you the best possible recommendations that match your ideas and interests. With award winning technology, I can package together what you can dream and my promise is to always treat your plans as if they were my own.
Everything I book is 100%, fully financially protected, so whether it's beach or ski, 3* or 5*, self catering or all inclusive, family holidays to honeymoons, land or sea, the already packaged to the bespoke tailor-made, with me the world really is your oyster and the sky really is the limit. All of this can be done whenever and wherever is best for you. I am available at the drop of an email both day and evening and can work with you over the phone, email or meet face to face to look together through brochures.
No enquiry is too big or too small, so whatever your travel plans this year, I would be delighted to make those dreams a reality.
I look forward to hearing from you soon
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so simply give me a call or send me an email with your contact details on and I can get things started for you:-
With us it's always personal. Your holiday is as important to me as my own, and nothing gives me more satisfaction than creating your moments that matter.
I absolutely live and breathe travel and I love to write about my experiences! Please take a look through my posts - you might find your own holiday inspiration.

As the world opens up again and we invite all of our customers to continue to explore the world, I thought now would be a good time to get in touch with this letter to you all, in the hope to spark a discussion about where you are dreaming of going, with no obligation to book or enquire. I just love to chat about holidays! As I sit and write this letter, I am supposed to be in Las Vegas! Who else has had a holiday cancelled throughout this pandemic and do you intend to rebook the same holiday if you...

I started my business with Travel Counsellors in December 2019 and in total I’ve been in the travel industry for 12 years. My career started with a company called Snowcoach and at the age of 18 I set off on one of their coaches for a 6 month stint in the ski resort of Val Cenis in France and worked as a chalet cleaner. Not the most glamourous of starts but I Iearnt to ski and had lots fun. The following summer I had a job lined up with First Choice as a holiday rep in Portugal. It was this...

Choosing to book with me as your personalised Travel Counsellor versus booking direct online. What's best for you? The world, and particularly the travel industry has been put through a lot of uncertainty in the last year or two. With the likes of Superbreak going into bankruptcy and the main bulk of their holidays being UK breaks, not many customers knew that unless you have a ‘package’, inclusive of a hotel and some sort of travel, you are not covered financially in the circumstance that the company goes bust. Leaving people without their UK breaks and without their money refunded. Superbreak...

I have two children aged 5 and 2, and let’s face it, just getting out of the house on time is not easy, let alone getting to an airport to check in on time. All parents have been in that nightmare situation in a restaurant or the local supermarket, when your little angel decides to have the mother of all meltdowns! Everyone’s looking, you don’t want to give in to them because that’s not how you do things but ultimately, you’re in public and the screams are loud! We live in a very accessible world now and of course we want our...

With half term holidays being around every 6 weeks, let’s face it, to go away in any of the school holidays is costly. I recently calculated that for a family of four to see the Lion King in London’s West End is £237, Matilda £120 (cheapest tickets), roller-skating for an hour or so is £33, bowling £21, cinema £30, Alton Towers £125 and a meal out from £60. This adds up to an incredible £626.00 per family and doesn’t include lunch, snacks such as popcorn, travel, overnight stays, treats etc. I took my boys on a Royal Caribbean cruise last summer...

So, for those of you who know me will know that this year after 9 years, me and Dean finally tied the knot! For those of you who are close to us, you will have shared are wonderful day. Even more special than the wedding day was our fantastic, fully loaded, jam packed honeymoon! It was a total of two weeks starting off with 4 nights in Miami. From Miami port we sailed for 3 nights around the Bahamas, sailed back into Miami port and flew from Miami International to Cancun, Mexico for the last 7 nights. And we done all...

LA has been one of my most special holidays, for lots of personal reasons. We spent 10 days in LA in the month of March. Most people only spend three or four nights and I would say that this is more than enough in order to see the main sights. Our reasons for spending much longer in this vibrant city was mainly because my husband’s hobby is American cars and he wanted to spend some time buying a 1970 Camaro. My sister also met us here from Australia and we hadn’t seen her for 2 years, but otherwise a few days...

Whether you’re after culture or relaxation, luxury or local, Thailand offers it all. From ruined cities, ancient monasteries, Buddhist monks, Elephant hills, floating markets, moonlit beach parties, golden beaches or pristine coral reefs, Thailand offers something for everyone at excellent value for money. Where to visit and when: The rainy season in Thailand really varies from region to region, making it the perfect year round destination. I visited Phuket in June and we stayed in Karon Beach. We chose here because it has enough restaurants to eat somewhere different every night, it wasn’t buzzing with nightlife but Patong (which is) was easily accessible....

Famous for rum, red stripe and Reggae, Jamaica is a fun filled island for everyone. Jamaica is the laid back, chill island of the Caribbean. With pristine white beaches and plenty of day excursions to choose from, we had a fantastic two-week holiday, mixed with relaxation and days out exploring. We stayed for two weeks in the fantastic Riu Ocho Rios. The all inclusive is brilliant with plenty to choose from in the buffet restaurant with live cooking stations but you can also choose to eat in the speciality Asian and Italian restaurants. Not only was the hotel directly on the...

I recently contacted Kerri with regards to finding us a couple of breaks to look forward to after a long year of lockdown. I wanted to book a lovely night away with my partner which wasn’t too far away from home due to the nature of my partners work and, to also have a weekend on the lakes somewhere for my Birthday later on this summer. Kerri listened to everything I wanted within my requirements and came up with some fantastic options within a very short timescale. Kerri had excellent advice, she was very helpful and managed to find exactly what we desired within our price bracket. Nothing is ever too much for Kerri, she will always strive to find you exactly what you’re after. Thank you so much Kerri!
