Hi, I’m Laura Finlay, and I’m still pinching myself that I get to call this work!

I live in Greater Manchester, am married to a wonderful husband and, fun fact, I do double duty: I’m still teaching and running my Dance Studio while also channeling my lifelong passion for travel by helping others plan theirs.

My journey into travel truly took flight with Emirates as Cabin Crew, where I was whisked away to countless cities and countries. Each new airport code, every culture I experienced firsthand, and the joy of serving others inspired me; sparking both wanderlust and a commitment to extraordinary customer care.

Dance has been another constant in my life. For nearly twenty years, I’ve taught and managed my own Dance School and Studio. That experience has taught me to nurture creativity, precision, and joy, and those same qualities now shape the itineraries I craft. Over time, friends and clients started coming to me for travel advice, unsolicited. They trusted me to help them choose where to go, where to stay, and how to make their travel dreams feel personal and seamless. After years of doing it for those I care about, I finally decided to follow that nudge and become a Travel Counsellor - and to continue teaching dance, too!

I absolutely love creating journeys that resonate deeply. What sets my approach apart is the blend of educator and aviator: precision meets warmth. I plan with creativity and care, founded in my teaching roots, refined by years of in-flight hospitality and customer service, and rooted in authenticity. Planning should never feel overwhelming: instead, it should be about excitement, discovery, and those “yes, this is exactly what I wanted” moments. And since I still teach and run my Studio and am an independent Travel Counsellor, I deeply understand time, balance, and creating something meaningful, whether in movement or in travel: offering flexible availability to suit your schedule whilst proudly being ATOL-protected; enabling you to travel with complete peace of mind knowing that your holiday is financially secured.
