Liz Stanley is simply exceptional. She has an uncanny ability to understand exactly what you need from a holiday before you’ve even worked it out yourself. She’s the kind of travel partner everyone wishes they had: steady, available, and always ready with solutions when you need them most.After so many flawless trips, I wouldn’t dream of booking a holiday without her. She delivers every single time. We absolutely love her.

We had a fantastic time in New York. The tokens were really useful because we could jump the queues which were extremely long. We did everything from riding around Central Park in a horse drawn carriage to drinks in the roof top bar. We also went to see Wicked on Broadway. Sophie was so excited and can’t wait to go back again! I might see my friend next year in Singapore so if this comes off, I will definitely book through you. Many thanks again.

I’ve just come back from a trip to Indonesia, which took 4 days of travel to get there. Liz was amazing, she booked all my flights and hotels together, focused on the details and logistics of travelling to and within Indonesia. She went the extra mile, competing for better prices after the price went up and personally contacted me when my flight got changed. I could not be happier with the service I received and will 100% be using her again to book my next trip!

Just returned from our third holiday that was booked by Liz Standley of Travel counsellors , it starts with a chat and ends up with a custom built itinerary, she is also happy to make any changes or additions you require, she is there every step of the way, this time we are fresh back from Zanzibar, our hotel was Riu Jambo, it was amazing, we even got a room upgrade to a stunning sea view , amazing place , so beautiful , would definitely recommend the hotel and travel counsellors.

We have used Liz a number of times now to book our family holidays and she has been brilliant. She really listens to what we want to do and see and makes some helpful suggestions along the way. It really helps to take all the stress away from it all and I would highly recommend her.

Our Travel Counsellor, Liz Standley, did another great job for us in formulating a superb 6 night, 2 hotel package to Gran Canaria, a surprise trip for my wife for her 60th birthday. Liz had so many good suggestions for hotels that would suit the occasion and also for surprise 'add on' experiences to complete the trip, making it really special. She even made sure that both hotels knew about the birthday, and we had bubbly on ice waiting for us on arrival at each of them! Documentation and attention to detail is always a trademark of the holidays that Liz has produced for us, and this was no exception. The detailed itinerary with travel arrangements, car hire documentation and hotel information made it all go so smoothly. We can't recommend her enough!

We have just returned from our amazing holiday in Zanzibar! Liz totally understood our requirements and guided us to the perfect location and hotel on the island. There was a lot of uncertainty for many guests about their return flights home due to the current conflict in the Middle East, but we had no concerns at all, as we knew Liz would be at the end of the phone if we needed her. My experience with Travel Counsellors was very good. Liz visited us at home and spent time helping us plan our trip, offering great advice, creative suggestions and she was flexible in changes of plans. She helped us with our visas and was on hand throughout the planning stage as well as when we were away and had some questions and queries. The whole experience to Thailand was excellent, from flights to transfers and hotels. All transfers were on time and drivers were Friendly and informative. Hotels were lovely, clean with large spacious areas. Our travel counsellor Liz was great, messaging us to make sure everything was ok and we were having a lovely time. We would never have done such a fantastic job if we would had booked this ourselves. Yet again Liz matched us and our holiday to perfection. Our trip to the Maldives was out of this world - this was 100% down to Liz. Liz Standley has helped us to arrange two incredible holidays. The first was a trip to Lapland in 2024 and the second was a, once in a lifetime, adventure to Japan in 2025. Liz was incredibly helpful for both. For our trip to Japan, I approached Liz with a long list of things we wanted to see and do, she provided us with an unforgettable itinerary that fit our "to do list" perfectly. She answered all our questions quickly. We decided (only a couple of weeks before leaving) to extend our adventure by four days, this wasn't an issue for Liz, she found us exactly what we were looking for. I recommend Liz to all of my friends and will definitely use her services again.

We booked a recent trip to Barbados with Liz Standley. Superb trip. Liz shortlisted a couple of hotels that perfectly fit our needs and budget, gave us good advice on flights and was there at every stage for any questions and to make sure we were ready to travel. In Barbados we met many travellers returning from previous visits, and its easy to see why. Lovely island, climate was perfect in Dec, people very welcoming and we felt absolutely safe everywhere, beaches are natrually beautiful and plenty to do and see. Happy to recommend both Barbados and Liz's service.

Liz was absolutely fantastic from before even confirming a booking to after our trip. Liz was very experienced and able to offer around advice and lots of reassurance /top tips.
