The Stunning Seychelles

I was lucky enough to go on an educational trip to the beautiful Seychelles which was arranged by the Seychelles Tourist Board. Our first stay was at the adult only boutique hotel, Hilton Northolme Resort & Spa. It is a secluded hideaway set amidst breath-taking natural beauty. The rooms are scattered throughout the resort and they also have private villas with pools overlooking the ocean.

Our next stay was at the Savoy resort & Spa which is situated on the beachfront at Beau Vallon Bay. This resort has a great location as you can walk out to local restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious with a contemporary feel.

On from here we next stayed at the Constance Ephelia which is an all suite hotel which is suitable for couples and families alike. There are also villas within the complex. It has a stunning setting surrounded by lush landscape and beautiful beaches.

Next we took an internal flight to the Island of Praslin, this took just 15 minutes. We stayed at the exclusive Constance Lemuria which is the only hotel in the Seychelles to have its own golf course. The resort has rooms as well as numerous villas with private pools. I was lucky enough to have my own private 2 bedroom villa with private pool all to myself for the night, he villa was ultimate luxury indeed. The resort is very spread out with several stunning beaches.

Our final stay was on Denis Private Island. We flew back to Mahe and then it was a 30 minute flight by private plane to Denis Island. On the island there is only 25 detached cottages and villas scattered at various walking distance from the beach. This is an island to totally get away from it all, there is no phone signal, no in room internet and no TVs.

Our last day we flew back to Mahe by private plane from Denis Island and we spent the day at the Kempinski Seychelles before our evening flight back to the UK. It was a great opportunity to get to see this wonderful resort as well.

We got to see and do a lot whilst in the Seychelles. During our stay we visited the capital Victoria and the Daily produce market and their famous clock tower. We also had an authentic creole meal at the Restaurant Maria Antoinette which was totally delicious. We had a full days excursion to the marine park where we had time on a semi-submersible to view the coral reefs, snorkelled here and fed the fish. We went ashore to Moyenne Island and spent some time on the very quiet secluded beach and got to see the Giant Tortoises and walk around the island.

Whilst on the island of Praslin we got the ferry to La Digue which has some of the most stunning beaches I have ever seen. We stopped at Anse De L’Argent which is said to be the most photographed beach in the world and I can understand why.

I really loved the Seychelles and can highly recommend the Islands and hope to return again one day. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like me to arrange your dream holiday to this beautiful place.
