Welcome to my webpage. My name is Neil Farr and I joined Travel Counsellors in 2017.
I am based in the idyllic location of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight where I have lived since 2005 and enjoyed booking holidays for a vast array of people from the Island and throughout the UK.
I have had the amazing fortune to have worked in travel for nearly 31 years this March, where my knowledge and experiences have been achieved in previous roles covering high street agency, call centres, brochure production, joint venture marketing campaigns, contracting and account management for UK and overseas.
During my time, I have benefitted from visiting many countries including, Australia, Bermuda, Botswana, Cambodia, Canada, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, North America, Singapore, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and a multitude of European destinations nearer to home.
Some of my best experiences include a game drive in South Africa to view the big 5 (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino) or a flight by helicopter over the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Another would be when I stayed overnight with The Long Neck Karen tribe near Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand, or jet-boating in Sydney harbour.
All countries offer their own culture involvement, outstanding natural beauty, history and unique diversity. It is this that makes us want to travel, explore and learn.
As your professional Travel Counsellor, I have access to award-winning technology and trusted quality suppliers. All of my clients are financially protected by the Travel Counsellors Financial Trust and ATOL.
I am able to assist you with any personal travel arrangements you may have.
