Hello there
I’m Nicola and I run my own business as a Travel Counsellor based in Cheshire, where I live with my husband and two lovely but wild children.
My great passion in life is and always has been travel and I feel extremely lucky to have travelled the world extensively whilst working for Virgin Atlantic for 17 years. I have had some incredible adventures and seen so many beautiful places, which I can’t wait to share with you. A few of my favourite places are Las Vegas, Barbados and Orlando, which I called my second home for many years.
As a family we also love to holiday and have recently been to Mauritius, Barcelona, Tenerife and Lapland, which was truly magical.
As a Travel Counsellor I provide a bespoke, personal service, taking the time to get to know you and your travel needs so that I can then build your travel plans to suit you perfectly. No matter what time of day it is or wherever you are in the world, I will always be here for you.

We made a 16 day tour of Rajasthan and Delhi organised by Nicola Finlayson from Travel Counsellors. We are 2 parents and an 11 year old boy. I have travelled in India before, but my son and husband had not. We were after a true but safe experience given our demographic. We had the most amazing time. The tour was a perfect combination of all we hoped for. We saw so much and travelled so far, without it feeling too much. It is an experience and intense going to India but we knew and prepared for this in advance. We were able to make the most of each immersive day; escape on our own at times; and take time unwind in comforting good hotels for the time we needed to. We used train, plane and car to cover distances and themselves were experiences. The colleagues from the office and every single guide were exceptional - cheerful, friendly, committed, knowledgeable, dedicated, flexible. We were made to feel very special and do, see, experience all that we wanted. It is an experience that we will never forget and I highly recommended Nicola, Travel Counsellors and all involved from the India side. Thank you!

Best decision ever to boom a hol with Nicola. Such a lovely service. Smooth, loads of options and very happy with our hol. The wallet and clips were such a lovely generous surprise. Would highly recommend and will book again, for our honeymoon! X

Nicola is an absolute true professional. Her knowledge about travel is incredible. A First class service from start to finish.
