The wildlife encounters in Antarctica are simply unparalleled. You’ll navigate through fields of icebergs in Zodiacs, getting respectfully close to massive humpback whales as they feed in the krill-rich waters. You’ll also visit vast penguin rookeries, kayaking in protected waters as these majestic creatures swim close by. Seals, from the crabeater to the formidable leopard seal, can often be seen hauled out on ice floes, too.
Your home for this voyage is the National Geographic Resolution. This is not your typical cruise ship; it is a purpose-built polar vessel designed for exploration in comfort and safety.
