The surrounding area is easy to explore with children too. The Kommeno Peninsula has a quieter feel but is still close to plenty of local spots that are worth visiting. A short drive takes you into Corfu Town, where families can wander the arcaded streets around the Liston promenade, explore the Old Fortress, and stop for gelato in the town squares. Along the coast, the bays around Dassia and Gouvia are ideal for boat trips, swimming stops and relaxed seaside afternoons.
