Mornings kick off with a new adventure each day. On some, you’ll head out on Zodiacs to hidden coves, and on others, you’ll be kayaking across calm bays with curious sea lions swimming alongside you. Snorkelling is a big part of the fun too; at Floreana, you might find yourself drifting next to green turtles or spotting Galápagos penguins speeding past you.

Landing on Española, you’ll see marine iguanas sprawled across black rocks and, if you’re lucky, waved albatross going through their quirky courtship dance. In Santa Cruz, it’s the slow-and-steady giant tortoises that take centre stage, shuffling through the highlands.

A stop at the Charles Darwin Research Station shows the work going on to protect the islands, and the guides on board bring a personal touch, sharing stories that stick with you. Even mealtimes feel connected to the region, with Ecuadorian dishes like ceviche and fresh fish adding plenty of flavour to your evenings.
