Your holiday includes two wonderful bases for your Maltese adventure. You'll begin with three nights at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, located just outside the fortress walls of Valletta. Your Deluxe Pool Area room provides a comfortable retreat, and with breakfast included, you can start your day of exploring on the right foot.

For the final two nights, you'll head north to the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa at Golden Sands. Here, a spacious Suite with a sea view offers a touch of luxury and incredible sunsets. It's the ideal spot to unwind, perhaps with a pre-dinner drink at the bar before heading out to a local restaurant.

A real highlight of your trip is a full-day catamaran cruise to the islands of Gozo and Comino. You’ll sail across the clear blue waters, dropping anchor at secluded bays for a swim. The main event is a stop at Comino's famous Blue Lagoon, where the water is an almost unbelievable shade of turquoise. It's a fantastic opportunity to swim, snorkel, and simply soak up the sun from the deck of the boat. This day on the water provides a completely different perspective of the islands and is sure to be a memorable part of your holiday.

To get a real sense of local life, you’ll join a small-group walking tour dedicated to Maltese food. Your guide will lead you through the charming streets, stopping at traditional bakeries and local eateries to sample specialities like pastizzi (savoury pastries) and other regional snacks. It’s a brilliant way to get acquainted with the island’s unique flavours, which are a mix of Sicilian and Middle Eastern influences, and to see parts of the city you might not find on your own.
