The trip begins in Cape Town, where your time is split between the city’s natural setting and its history. A cable car ride up Table Mountain gives clear views across the coastline and city bowl, while visits to places such as Bo-Kaap and the V&A Waterfront show different sides of modern Cape Town, from everyday neighbourhood life to its working harbour and restaurant scene.

From here, the journey continues into the Cape Winelands, travelling through Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. This is slower-paced and more rural, with time set aside for wine tasting and lunch at local estates known for straightforward, well-executed food. Walking through these towns adds a sense of place, with Cape Dutch architecture and mountain backdrops shaping the experience.

The final destination is the Eastern Cape, where the focus turns to safari. Game drives in a private reserve are led by experienced rangers who track animals across open terrain, often spotting elephants, giraffe, buffalo, and more. Early starts and late-afternoon drives make the most of wildlife movement, with time back at the lodge to reflect on what you’ve seen.
