This tour is a celebration of Southern Italian food. Your culinary education begins on day one in Naples with a hands-on pizza-making workshop, and the following day includes a visit to a winery on the slopes of Vesuvius. Later in the trip, you will taste local specialities during a visit to a cheese factory in the Monti Lattari mountains and learn to make orecchiette pasta from scratch in Puglia, complemented by a regional wine tasting.

Follow in the footsteps of history as you walk through the excavated streets of Pompeii, a city frozen in time by the eruption of Vesuvius. You will also journey to Matera, where you can see the ancient Sassi district - a complex of cave dwellings carved into the mountainside that has been inhabited for thousands of years.

From the Bay of Naples to the Adriatic coast, this itinerary is filled with beautiful views. A highlight is the drive along the Amalfi Coast, a famous route of cliffside villages and coastal panoramas. You’ll also travel by boat to the island of Capri to see the Blue Grotto, a sea cave where sunlight creates an ethereal blue light, before enjoying a tour in a classic open-top car.
