Its location in the far north gives the island a more remote feel than many Maldivian resorts. The house reef is easy to reach and full of marine life, with turtles, reef sharks, and schools of tropical fish often seen just a short swim from shore. On land, you can get around by bike, following shaded paths and passing quiet stretches of beach that rarely feel busy. The resort also makes a conscious effort to stay connected to the local area, sourcing from nearby suppliers where possible and offering excursions that give insight into Maldivian traditions.

Ocean Grill focuses on fresh seafood served right by the beach, while Kakuni offers a broader mix of international dishes in a more casual setting.
