In March 2015 I was one of the lucky agents to be invited by P&O to spend a day and evening on board their new ship Britannia in Southampton.
I couldn't wait to get on board and have a look round this brand new ship and I wasn't disappointed.
Britannia was brought together by world-leading interior design experts to represent the best of British style and elegance. The atrium was spectacular with its centrepiece the Star Burst sculpture, and is arranged over three decks. Definitely a draw for those holiday photos.
It was lovely being able to wander around and see what was round the next corner. I loved the relaxed feel being aboard and in the evening we were spoiled for entertainment. We couldn't decide and had another look around the ship and came across various acts and artists in different venues so there is really something for everyone. I loved the Crow’s Nest bar where they had over 20 different types of Gin! Definitely worth a visit.
The Spa facilities on board are lovely and perfect for a spot of indulgence. The Spa boasts some brand new industry leading features such as Oasis Villa – a treatment room for couples or groups, a salt therapy caldarium and a hydrotherapy suite with heated lounges and pool with reflexology, massaging jets and air recliners.
All cabins are furnished in a boutique style, with soothing colour schemes and unrivalled entertainment options. All outside rooms feature balconies – a first for a P&O Cruises ship.
Food will be a hugely important feature of the Britannia experience. We had a Marco Pierre White menu and it was divine!
There is a choice between three signature restaurants, serving food from all corners of the world around the clock. P&O have lined up a Who’s Who of British food – including James Martin, Mary Berry and Marco Pierre White – to lead celebrity master classes on select Britannia sailings
I was really impressed with the children’s facilities I saw on board and what was available for the kids to do in the clubs. They really wouldn't be bored and you would struggle to get them out! I’m sure my 12 year old would have a ball and make lots of friends.
I haven’t covered half of what is on board and I hope to go back on Britannia again with my family at some point and share it with them.

This was a special holiday for us and it was planned to perfection by Renata. Hotels and locations were perfect, the transport and organisation once we arrived in Italy was easy to follow and worked out really well, she took away all the stress of trying to organise these things for yourself. This was a first-time long-haul Disney trip for us. We were unsure how to go about making the most of our trip as there is so much to see and do. Renata recently booked us an escorted tour of South America, we looked at several itineraries and Renata was very helpful in recommending different companies, her wide knowledge certainly pointed us in the right direction. We eventually chose to go with Cox and Kings.
We did have several issues with the admin side of things, we added days on at the beginning and the the end and the paperwork was not always correct but Renata sorted it out and double and tripled checked everything for us. The tour was itself was excellent and despite the admin issues I would use Cox and Kings again
Renata has been helping us with our holidays for several years, her patience is endless and her experience is so helpful. She spends such a lot of time on the phone getting prices and information for us but we never feel pressured to make a decision. We have been in a few situations on holidays where having Renata at the end of the phone has been such a relief.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday that was designed for us by Renata after a discussion about our wish list and time constraints.
You excelled our expectations and provided us with whatever we asked for and more.
After my son seeing Belize in the Wanderlust magazine he was set on a Belizean adventure. We loved the accommodation that you found for us and the food and hospitality at all three hotels were exceptional .
We were able to experience the Mayan ruins , Jungle and Coastal charms of Belize.
The hi light of the holiday being the Lamanai Outpost Lodge and the Jungle experiences.
We just wish we had more time to enjoy all the Belize has to offer. We will be back .
Even with multiple flights and transfers everything went smoothly and staff responsible for the transfers were enthusiastic and friendly and went the extra mile to share their knowledge of their country.

We contacted Renata at Travel Counsellors after her service was recommended by a friend. We gave Renata our wish list and budget for our African adventure and off she went to come up with a plan. The first itinerary came back within the week and from there we managed to plan our route and choose hotels from the options offered. Renata liaised with African Pride regarding our questions about hotels and our to do wish list and they gave us plenty of information to make well informed choices. Renata has booked several holidays for us over the last few years.
We like to do organised tours and as such they take a lot more looking into. We have recently booked a tour of South America through Renata, we had a couple of ideas which Renata looked at but she also went that extra mile and found another tour that fit us better and was a better price.
We then proceeded to request several extensions and all our requests were dealt with by Renata with the upmost professionalism and patience. We finally made a decision and Renata booked the holiday for us.

We have been booking holidays with Renata for several years and have always had excellent service. In March we had booked a tour of India with a pre-extension to Nepal. The day before we were due to travel there was an incident at Kathmandu Airport and the runway was closed. We arrived at Manchester only to be told we couldn't board our flight. We were on the phone to Renata all morning and she liased with the tour operators and made sure that we knew what to do and helped us through that day and also helped us to re schedule our holiday with minimum stress to us.
Renata also made sure we had all the relevant paperwork to claim on our insurance, even emailing us and the tour operators whilst on holiday herself.
We are so glad we had the support of Renata to guide us through all this, we would 100% recommend her, she is defiantly willing to go the extra mile when needed.

Renata has been helping us book our holidays for the last few years and she has always been the ultimate professional whilst making you feel you are chatting to a friend. We recently saw a cruise advertised that really appealed to us, I rang Renata and within an hour I had a reply despite it being the weekend. By that afternoon Renata was on the phone with the cruise line on one line and myself on the other completing the booking, keeping the cruise line office open late, all this for the same price I would have paid had I done all the work. Every detail of our holidays are taken care off, including any updates, visa requirements even noting that we need to renew our passports. Yet again Renata has helped us book a truly memorable holiday. We have just returned from a month long tour of China with Wendy Wu Tours. When China was first mentioned Renata recommended Wendy Wu and organised brochures for us. She then advised us on extending our holiday in Abu Dhabi rather than the idea we had come up with and which turned out to be absolutely the correct choice.
When there was confusion over flight times Renata made several phone calls and sorted it all out for us. A hotel pre flight and transport was also all sorted. No matter how many phone calls and queries we had they were dealt with in a friendly professional manner and we were never left to wait for answers. Being recently divorced, I was invited to stay with my brother and his partner in Spain. I began looking into how to book flights, but as an inexperienced traveller found the process very daunting. A friend recommended I contact Renata and he assured me that she would be able to help. In no time, my flights had been booked and all necessary information arrived in the post promptly. Renata booked a cruise for myself and 3 other couples. Unfortunatly 1 couple had to cancell due to illness, Renata sorted all this out for us and then 6 weeks later re booked it all. All this was done with the upmost professionalism and understanding. When the time came for the holiday all the tickets, luggage labels ets were delivered to our house all completed and ready to go.
I cannot stress enough how Renata went that extra mile at all times to take any hassle out of the holiday, when we arrived the parking and the dining was all sorted, all we had to do was enjoy our holiday. I would recommend Renata without any hesitation.

We have just returned from a short break in Paris to watch horse racing.
It is the first time that we have approached Renata to organise the trip so we were a little worried about how things would go, especially as we had a 5 year old with us.

This is the 4th holiday Renata has booked for us and once again everything was sorted with the upmost attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble and every phone call is answered very quickly.

From start to finish Renata was brilliant. Originally we were contemplating staying in a hotel in New York, but after discussing our needs Renata suggested and found a good apartment in the perfect location.

Renata has now booked 3 holidays for us, 2 of which we have already been on. We are very happy with the service; nothing is too much trouble and she is always willing to go that extra mile to ensure we get exactly what we want. She has checked things out for us and has always been honest. The little extras like filling in the luggage labels and delivering tickets are much appreciated. 10 out of 10.

I cannot fault the service Renata provided me with in booking a holiday. It was very personalised and fulfilled all my requirements. She not only made sure that we were comfortable before the holiday but that we had enjoyed the holiday as well. I have never had such a service before and will continue to use her when booking a holiday. I can only thank her for the support and help she gave me.

Myself and my wife enjoyed a fantastic Honeymoon in the Maldives, we found it very difficult to search for such a perfect holiday. Renata covered every aspect of our needs and much more. What made our holiday so enjoyable was the little input we had in organising it, we were both completely satisfied with her service and would recommend her to friends and family every time they book a holiday.

For going on ten years now Renata Bayes has been helping us with our holidays. We have always had a good relationship with Renata and hopefully become good friends. We know we can pick our holiday and leave the rest to her. It’s nice not to worry about all the rest of those little things like insurance, taxis and extra leg room on the plane. We are one hundred percent satisfied and would not think of going to anyone else.
