Richard again delivered a solution despite it being requested at the last minute. He's thorough, resourceful and fully-committed to customers. I've always had a sense that he can be relied-upon.

Richard is incredibly responsive to his clients needs and questions. He also thinks outside the box and comes up with interesting ideas, so far more than a bog-standard service. Its an absolute pleasure working with him and he takes all the stress out of travel booking!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping me with flights and parking for my upcoming business trip this week. It has been such a pleasure working with you, nothing has been an effort. Crystal were great, the Santa and other Christmas activities were lovely, accommodation was just what we needed and we also managed to get a bit of skiing in as well - the kids learnt to ski and we had them on red runs by the end of the week. Richard was superb: he did more than we expected, checking that all was fine both before and during the holiday. I am disabled so getting the right apartment was crucial and details matter. Richard’s attention to detail was flawless and his tireless nagging of the airline to find out leg room, exemplary. These little things become big things if wrong, so getting them right was vital to our real enjoyment of the trip. I have never come across someone in the travel industry who has displayed such understanding of the importance of detail for a disabled person. For example, we asked to be close to a subway station – we were! Only 50 yards not half a mile (as others have provided!) There was no flannel, no hyperbole, everything was as he had said it would be. And I really liked that Richard wanted my feedback to improve their data for the next person to visit New York. We will be using him again – in fact I am already for a business trip. Highly recommended.

Thank you for all of your help regarding our holiday. We had a fantastic time. The weather was perfect. The hotel was in a great location and has excellent choices of restaurants and bars. The staff were very attentive and we had a great giggle while relaxed in the sun.

Hi Richard, Just to say that we had a fantastic trip to New York and thank you for sorting the flights and hotel, which was in a great location for exploring the city. We pretty much squeezed in everything we wanted to do and more and had the most fabulous weather… The hotel location was great as it took about an hour to walk up to Time Square at a steady place, with a tube station around the corner and was not too noisy - so a huge thanks for booking us there! The hotel was great for what we needed and the staff were very friendly. We definitely made the most of our time in NYC and just wanted to say thank you again for booking us great flights and hotel. My Mum had a wonderful time and we made some fantastic memories together, which it was all about! Richard is the best travel person we have worked with. We have worked with Richard for the last 4 months on travel arrangements around the Polar Ocean Challenge. This has involved travel to remote and difficult places in the whole arctic region using very small airlines and accommodation as well as main stream suppliers. This has needed Richard to make call at anti-social hours and make ad-hoc arrangements on our behalf. Richard has been easy to work with, reliable, accurate and pleasant to deal with, even when we have made mistakes or arrangements have been changed many times because of the weather or ice conditions. I can recommend him without reservation!

Richard is amazing. He has gone above and beyond to help us. The first time we dealt with him was during the Endurance 100 South Pole challenge http://endurance100.org/ whereby we had an expedition reaching the South Pole and then getting stuck in Antarctica for weeks because of the adverse weather during the Christmas period. He made sure everybody got home to the Uk as quickly as possible. Then we had the North Pole balloon flight and now the Polar Ocean Challenge. http://polarocean.co.uk/ The Polar Ocean challenge was to to sail around the North Pole anti clockwise in one season; something that has never been done before! There were four legs to this challenge with different crew leaving and joining the yacht at very remote places. These places are not your 'normal' holiday destinations We had crew leaving and joining in the remote parts of Alaska and Greenland but that didn't faze Richard. He got on the case and found all the flights and hotels for everybody. He also contacted the local authorities in these VERY remote places to make sure that the multi national crew could legally enter the countries throughout the challenge. I've lost count of the amount of times he has been on the end of the phone out of 'office' hours due to the time difference with the individual expeditions. Thanks Richard we couldn't have got everybody safely home without you!

Richard May has looked after all our personal and business travel since 2013. We have been to fabulous places and everything has been better than expected. trips to Turkey, Egypt, The Canaries and San Francisco all excellent quality, good value and so much easier than looking for everything your self. Just give him an idea of what you want and let him do the rest.

Hi Richard, New York was just brilliant. Everything you arranged for us worked out perfectly. The limo was waiting for us, the hotel set up was great for us and the helicopter and jersey boys were just fantastic. We were very lucky with the weather, it was cold some of the time but we did loads and came home exhausted! The children loved New York and I'm sure will be visiting again. I recently asked Richard to arrange a special anniversary trip. First time ever using Travel Counsellors but I have to say Richard and the company did an excellent job for me.
