Hi, I’m Sarah I live in Greater Manchester and love hiking. I have a sense of adventure about me! My greatest achievements adventuring would have to be, completing a solo parachute jump in Lancaster many years ago, more recently the Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal. Reaching base camp and climbing up to the summit of Kala Patthar at 5644m for amazing views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains was truly special.
I’m a travel counsellor with 29+ years of experience in travel and tourism. That encompasses working as a reception team leader in hotels and at a professional sports club, as well as being cabin crew for a respected airline for 14 years travelling the world. I have been a travel agent/tour operator for four years prior to joining Travel Counsellors.
My favorite destinations I have been to, would be Japan, Costa Rica, Mexico, Vietnam, Cambodia, New Zealand and Canada. My number one spot, must go to Chile having seen the glaciers in Patagonia and visited Easter Island (Rapa Nui) to see the Moai was just outstanding. I love multiple destinations for different reasons. Florida is my absolute favorite place to go with kids; you have the weather/water-parks/theme parks/child friendly restaurants and numerous other attractions. What’s not to love!
