Dubai -Jabeel Saray

Once we had done the tennis , horseracing , souks , malls and metro it was time to relax. We were off to the palm to the beautiful Jumeriah Jabeel saray. The hotel is indeed very beautiful there is so much detail and grandeur its hard to know where to begin. We were virtually at the end of the branch of the Palm . This was going to be our rest and recooperation for the next 3 days. We checked in and went off to the beach the sand is not soft sand but quite course and the sea was still cold. So we went to the pool. It is a beautiful pool so warm and hubbie calculates about 25 m so you are able to swim lengths . There is a lot of small children at the hotel who prefer the main pool to their perfectly lovey childrens pool area so if you are not keen on kids this is not the hotel for you. The chairs are pretty much packed around the pool so you are very much on top of each other. The staff are attentive and you get free water in a lovely bag with ice in to keep it cool so no need to purchase water. Drinks of the alcoholic nature are expensive about £12 for a spirit and £8 for a beer so unless you take advantage of happy hours the drinks bill can be large! The rooms are lovely lets start with the bathroom massive double bath , rain shower, luxury products. last time when I stayed in Dubai we had Bulgari this time Penghalian, I felt like a sultan in my dressing gown. I will let the photos tell 1000 words. There were various restaurants we could use for our first night we went to the Lebanese lovely food but I was so full The only downside for me and this is a personal think it was too quiet in the hotel . I am not a party animal but I found the hotel a little bit too quiet with nothing really going on and because we were in the middle of nowhere this meant we would need to get out and about . The hotel had a free shuttle bus which took you to the other Jumeriah hotels and the Mall of the emirates so we ventured out . We had the half board vouchers which allowed us to eat in a choice of 25 restaurants owned by Jumeriah We ate at the Jumeirah Beach hotel a world class hotel maybe a little dated but we had a lovely meal in the Italian restaurant with the Burj Al Arab in the background on the way home we stopped in to the Mina Al Salem hotel where we went on a tour of the waterways on a dhow which was lovely . We went to wild wadi water park (free for jumeirah guests) which was brilliant and I did all the rides. Then on night 3 we did the Mexican at the Mina Al salem which was a lovely finale to our trip . I loved Dubai it is a wonderful holiday destination though you need to dress a little bit smarter , you get through a lot of money , but transport is cheap the shopping is amazing , food is 1st class we ate in some amazing places and yes I will be back !
