Hotel Colon Guanahani, Costa Adeje, Tenerife

On a visit to The Jardines De Navaria Hotel, Costa Adeje, Tenerife, I was given the opportunity to visit their sister hotel - The Colon Guanahani, situated just opposite.

I visited this hotel many years ago and wasn't initially overly impressed, but boy did I need to eat my words after having a look around.

They have made many improvements and the hotel represents a good alternative to the Jardines de Navaria. It's a good four-star and reflects a different price level. It does only accept guests over 16-years-old, so if you are looking for somewhere without toddlers or baby's but is still close to all the amenities, then this is the hotel for you.

Rooms have been updated and they now have an extra sun bathing terrace with sea views and additional pool area. The hotel is only a two minute walk down to the promenade., beach, local restaurants and shops, so the hotel is in a great location.

With a buffet and a la carte dining options, a little spa area and bar, you have everything you need for a great holiday.

I did not stay here so cannot comment on the staff or experience but I am confident that as part of the family run Adrian Hotels this hotel will not disappoint.
