Hello and welcome! I am Tamara, originally from the UK and now based in beautiful Greece with my lovely 5 year old son and husband.

I decided to become a travel counsellor, as I have a passion for travel and love to use my knowledge to help my clients plan their perfect trip! I have 16 years of experience in the travel industry, producing tailored itineraries and putting them into action. I love a chat and really enjoy getting to know my clients in order to create unique experiences with them and for them. For me it is personal.

I have always loved to travel and started from an early age. My Dad is from Jerusalem and I spent my childhood summers there with my family and also visiting Jordan, Egypt, many European countries and the USA. The new people, places, cultures and food (most places I have visited have a dish attached to them!) are very special memories and the foundation of what has led me to where I am now.

I graduated from law school in 2008 but felt that this was not the right career for me. I then started working in my families travel business organising group pilgrimages to the Middle East, Europe and Mexico. I worked very closely with group organisers in order to put together highly specialised and tailored itineraries for them, offering a high level of care and support. During most of these years until I had my son, I travelled a lot getting to know my groups, visiting suppliers and learning about new destinations.

Travel highlights include; visiting magnificent Petra, hiking through the desert to the Dead Sea and sleeping in a Bedouin village, joining the festivities at the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City and combing the markets at the crack of dawn (jet lag!) Climbing and crawling through the stalactite and stalagmite filled Frasassi cave network in Italy, seeing the ancient palaeolithic art in the Altamira cave in Northern Spain, a market food tour in the beautiful Old city of Nablus, hanging out with the snow monkeys in Japan and joining a sheep shearing ritual in the Olive Groves of Crete.
