My name is Thea, originally from London, I moved to the South-West for university and decided to call this place home. I’ve since moved to the suburb of Keynsham with my Fiancé but frequently visit both Bristol and Bath to see my clients.
After graduating as a Neuroscientist, I decided that life in a laboratory simply wasn’t for me and decided to fuel my other passion in life – travel. As a graduate I retrained in travel and tourism and haven’t looked back since. My role as a Travel Counsellor, as cheesy as it sounds, allows me to make dreams come true. From that iconic honeymoon to first family holiday, my job is to create incredible memories that will be remembered for years to come. The joy this gives me simply cannot be replaced by any other job.
Being your Travel Counsellor means I am my own boss. I can work my own hours, do any special touches I desire and overall go above and beyond for my clients. This flexibility means I am there whenever you need me to be. Can’t speak until after work? Not a problem – I am not restricted to certain hours. Want to meet up in person? Perfect – lets meet in a coffee shop, house etc. My aim is to ensure that your experience is as personalised and perfect from the start of your enquiry all the way through to your return home.
I often get asked what’s your favourite place in the world? The answer is everywhere! My personal experience is vast and everywhere in the world offers a unique experience in their own way. Most recently I’ve found myself exploring the depths of India, on safari in Africa, touring in Europe and sunbathing in the Caribbean. Chances are what you are planning I’ve either done it myself or are planning it in the near future.
Whatever you are looking to do don’t hesitate to get in contact no matter how big or small. I look forward to helping you plan your dream trip soon!
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so simply give me a call or send me an email with your contact details on and I can get things started for you:-
I absolutely live and breathe travel and I love to write about my experiences! Please take a look through my posts - you might find your own holiday inspiration.

An expedition voyage is an incredibly unique experience, one that many people assume can only be experienced in the likes of the Polar regions and the high price tag that comes with it. In fact, expedition cruising can also be a great way to explore many different regions of the world, avoiding large crowds and often docking in areas where large cruise ship cannot go. Hurtigruten are truly experts in their field and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Now I’d love to be writing this and tell you they whisked me off to Antarctica for my expedition experience. I’m afraid...

In March 2020, I had the privilege of travelling out to the Dominican Republic and visited 18 different hotels over my week-long stay. Research trips such as this are a fantastic way for me to differentiate each property and understand their strengths and weaknesses. With many 4* & 5* properties with similar Trip Advisor reviews available and all claiming to be the best, it is this first-hand experience that allows me to become a true expert in my field and provide the best tailored experience for my clients. During my stay I experienced many different half day and full day...

**I recently sent Linda & Grant on their first cruise with the amazing Cunard. They sailed two nights from Southampton to Hamburg in a club balcony cabin. This is a guest piece written by Linda about their experience on-board** What a fabulous way to start the year! It's early January and we have just got back from a mini taster cruise that Thea arranged for us on Cunard's Queen Victoria. Everything was perfect, even the weather was kind! We arrived at Southampton cruise terminal slightly early, but after handing our baggage to the porters we found a seat and some coffee...

Cruising is going through a huge revolution with more and more passengers travelling on mega ships year on year from the UK. My fiancé is a recent convert and whilst I prefer smaller ships, I was convinced to take advantage of an amazing offer and try the MSC Meraviglia. Overview The Meraviglia was a ground-breaking ship when she joined the MSC fleet in 2017 being the largest it had ever made. Weighing in at 171,598-ton and holding 4,475 passengers along with over 1,500 staff, she is hard to miss at port! She was also the first of a new class...

I have just returned from my very first river cruising experience with the wonderful Uniworld, exploring the Danube from Passau to Nuremburg. Having never cruised before, I didn’t know what to expect but had concerns as to whether the stereotypical visions I had of river cruising were true. If they were then I knew that this wasn’t the form of travel for me but, all in the name of research, I boarded the River Princess and set sail awaiting an adventure. Misconception 1 – River cruises are not for the younger traveller Being a 27yr old traveller, I wondered how I...

The Angkor Archaeological Park is a bucket list destination and in 1992, became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I ticked it off my list in December 2017 as part of an extensive research trip around Cambodia. Since then I’ve sent numerous clients exploring both on and off the usual tourist track. Siem Reap was created as the gateway to the park with many hotels a mere 10 – 15 minutes away. Two of my favourite hotels are Shinta Mani Shack, designed by famed designer Bill Bensley, and Phum Baitang, offering traditional Khmer wooden houses with luxurious 5* fittings. Angkor...

I’ve loved travelling solo. Small group tours, such as G Adventures, provide me with safety, security, and fantastic value for money. When I travelled to Morocco in February 2017 I travelled with G on their Kasbahs & Desert 8-day itinerary, starting at an incredible £579 per person (not including international flight and correct at time of publication). Kasbahs & Deserts is a Classic itinerary by G Adventures meaning accommodation was comfortable tourist-class with character and I travelled by a mix of public and private transport. There was a significant amount of tours included with our guide as well as plentiful...

With access to Edinburgh so easy from Bristol airport and very affordable too, I’ve visited this beautiful city on numerous occasions. In June 2016 I ventured up north once again but this time I would travel beyond the capital city and explore Scotland’s famous highlands with my mum. Our journey began in Edinburgh where we spent two days exploring the cities numerous sites. It was my mums first time in Scotland and somewhere she had had on her travel list for some time. We wandered down the Royal Mile, had afternoon tea at The Dome and visited the art galleries....

Thea was super helpful and really professional. It is reassuring to have her help us plan a large trip. Her information and professional quotes where far better than any from the high street travel agents we approached.

10/10. I would score higher if I could. Thea is the most dedicated, enthusiastic travel counsellor I have encountered and I have spoken to a LOT of people. Nothing is EVER too much trouble and her personal knowledge is invaluable. I trust her implicitly with every aspect of my travel plans. Without her, I would not be going on the holiday of my dreams next year so THANK YOU Thea!

Thea has been amazing helping us to plan and book our trip to Thailand this year. She was very helpful with information, catering to our taste and always prompt and quick to reply. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family if they are planning a trip abroad.

Thea is totally professional. She was able to answer all my questions due to her great knowledge of the trip I was interested in. Nothing was too much trouble for her. A lovely touch was the notebook she sent me, which will enable me to record my trip and hopefully future ones with Cunard.

Thea has been fantastic on more than one occasion in helping me find and book amazing holidays and more recently my honeymoon which is now booked for May in 2020. Extremely helpful, patient and accommodating. Thank you Thea.
From the pristine white-sand beaches of Thailand’s idyllic islands to the sprawling wide-open roads of the USA; the historic and breathtakingly beautiful architecture of India to the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Maldives – there’s a world of wonder out there and it’s just waiting to be explored.
