I have to admit I was a little nervous. I had never visited Ibiza & have reached an age where clubbing is not top of my agenda. Just a short hop from the UK & we landed in sunny Ibiza. The island of Ibiza is known the world over for its idyllic beaches where waters of the Mediterranean lap on its stunning shores as well as for being one of the world’s top music destinations. The old town of Ibiza was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Its narrow cobbled streets, alcoves, & buildings are captivating. Stumble across all sorts of treasures from the different civilisations that have inhabited this magical island. As you climb upward, the views grow with every step, of your walk up Dalt Vila. Comfortable, sturdy footwear, hat, drink & a good camera & plenty of time are a must. Take an evening stroll through the alleys, window shop in the pretty boutiques & enjoy some tapas into the early hours. No matter which part of the island you are staying in this is a must do to experience the true heart of Ibiza, step through the medieval alley ways taking in the wonderful smell of freshly cooked pasta, seafood & tapas. Pop into those fabulous stylish boutiques & marvel at the architecture. If you are wanting to enjoy the nightlife head towards to the harbour & enjoy all the bars & clubs you need, drift back to your hotel in the evening or early hours the taxi rank is centrally located, don't forget to stare in awe at the wonderful array of yachts moored up in the harbour.
