Club Med - Ski & Sun

Club Med are a valued partner with Travel Counsellors and we had them in Head Office just last month. I thought it was a good opportunity to let you know, firstly that I can book them with all the usual Financial Protection offered by Travel Counsellors and secondly a little bit about them if you aren’t already familiar.

They have two products, their summer properties and their ski properties. They are all premium all-inclusive products. In the summer programme they can guarantee inter-connecting rooms (subject to availability of course) and along with this they also price children as children. This may sound obvious but actually the majority of operators will charge an adult price for the first 2 people in a room regardless of their ages, but Club Med don’t do this. You’ll still benefit from child prices even if they’re in their own room! Another great offer is that all children under 6 years of age stay for free (just pay for transport). As for ski, it’s the most unique product on the market as the only all-inclusive operator. They include lift passes, guiding or tuition for every level, child care, all meals and a free bar!

Here is some of their latest news…

• NEW - Cefalu in Sicily is their first 5 Trident resort in Europe. Some room types have been sold out for certain dates for a couple of months already – it’s a unique product in Sicily where there isn’t much in the way of all-inclusive available. It’s the first of its kind to open in a long time on the island and is already proving popular. • Sadly, their resort in Turks & Caicos was hit quite badly in the hurricane last year and so they made the decision to completely renovate it and upgrade it to a 4 Trident resort – it’s also adult only so a great option for couples! • They are currently spending millions on various resorts, for example, both Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and Cancun in Mexico have been refurbished including all the rooms (which will be finished by the end of the year). • Hot off the press – they’ve bought Beachcomber in the Seychelles and this will be opening as a new Club Med resort in 2019. Generally, hotels aren’t all-inclusive in Seychelles so this is a great addition to their portfolio – bookings will be available soon! • New for the coming winter season they are opening a brand new resort in Les Arcs, France – Les Arcs Panorama. This property will become their flagship property for the coming ski season and is on sale to book now!

If you’d like more information about Club Med or would like any quotes, please get in touch and I’d love to help.
