We have used Lisa services during our early Rotary days in the early 2000s up to the present time to arrange holidays, flights and everything to do with travel. You have been a wonderful travel agent. None better!

My wife and I have had our overseas travel affairs looked after by Lisa Hillyard and the Travel Counsellors network for 24 years. During that time she has given us exemplary service and we have never thought of looking anywhere else. She has always made suggestions for alternative bookings, and efficiently arranged our choice and dealt with all the ancillary documentation, reminders, checking-in etc. When problems have arisen she has always been available to deal with them at any time of day or night.

When the government announced that we were unable to travel on our planned holiday to Portugal, Lisa was really quick to offer alternatives, provide advice on places and hotels that had good Covid reports and regulations, and within 24 hours we were then heading to a fantastic resort in Greece which met all of our requirements. The resort carried out Covid checks on all residents, was incredibly clean and tidy with courteous and polite staff . Lisa also provided lots of guidance with all of the necessary forms that we had to complete for arrival in Greece and then back into the UK, altogether removing a lot of the stress that can go with organising a holiday

We have just returned from Vietnam and Cambodia and all I can say is AMAZING. You created the most amazing holiday ever. The hotels were all wonderful, everybody really helpful and friendly. Wide Eyed were extremely punctual where ever we were and the guides were knowledgeable, friendly and very clear with their English. For us the holiday was a holiday of a lifetime and the 3 weeks flew by. Halong Bay on the boat was incredible, we went Kyacking. at Ho Ann, cycling on Vietnamese roads. To the wonder and beauty of Cambodia. This held very sad stories. We were informed of various beliefs from the guides to their countries and living situations. The tempo of the holiday was just right and the only thing not in your control was the delayed internal flights that meant we reached our new hotel later than expected. Highly recommend everything about the holiday, your company and especially you for putting together such a wonderful memorable experience for us all.

When we mentioned to relatives that we were first thinking of making the trip of a lifetime to Thailand, they all told us that we needed to contact Lisa! Lisa organised an amazing holiday for us in Vietnam and Cambodia. Having just returned from an amazing visit to Myanmar followed by our daughters wedding in Hong Kong, Isobel and I asked ourselves how does it all happen! It all began in April 2001 when Isobel and I were going to South Africa and the hotel in Stellenbosch gave us Lisa's name - who they'd used to make past arrangements for several potential guests. Well what has followed? We have been fortunate enough to have travelled to many countries since 2001 sometimes combining this with daughter visits having one in Hong Kong and another in Los Angeles. After some years of helping us plan "normal" holidays, last year Lisa helped with the planning and booking of a holiday of a lifetime for me and my husband, on our retirement. My husband and I live in New Zealand and decided to take a trip of a life time introducing our children (aged 7 and 9) to a variety of countries and cultures around the world. We spent over a year planning this three month trip and realised early on we needed a travel agent who had the expertise for the type of travel we were looking to undertake. Ever since I arrived back from India I have been planning to send you an e-mail congratulating and thanking you for a fantastic holiday arrangement.
