Just want to say that you have booked our holidays for years to Australia and have been so helpful to us always at the end of a phone. When Covid started we were in Australia then and you pulled out all the stops to get us back home early before we were locked in there. Since my husband died you organised everything to get me to Oz on my own with assisted passage . I was very apprehensive but all went well. I will always recommend you for organising travel. I have used Lisa as our travel agent for many years for one very good reason… she’s amazing! She very quickly learnt what we like and don’t like. She is always quick to respond if we have any problems.. even out of hours and when she is out of office. If she is not in a position to help us she puts us straight in touch with another travel counsellor. The back up from Travel Counsellors is excellent. With Lisa nothing is ever too much trouble and she is always able to resolve any issues. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I really can’t recommend her highly enough!

My wife and I have had our overseas travel affairs looked after by Lisa Hillyard and the Travel Counsellors network for 24 years. During that time she has given us exemplary service and we have never thought of looking anywhere else. She has always made suggestions for alternative bookings, and efficiently arranged our choice and dealt with all the ancillary documentation, reminders, checking-in etc. When problems have arisen she has always been available to deal with them at any time of day or night.

I was recommended by a friend to use Lisa a couple of years ago and I wouldn’t now, go anywhere else. Lisa has an immediate grasp of what you are looking for, responds immediately and manages all the details without any fuss….nothing is too much trouble, available at any time and a great comfort to know that she is there also, even when you are away on holiday. All the details are immaculately provided and her research of destinations, flights , hotels and any trips just make everything so easy. Getting away on holiday is often a stressful time and not having to worry about the holiday itself, just makes life so much easier…. Hi Lisa I heard you on the radio and your name came flooding back to me. I believe that you arranged a trip of a lifetime for me 29 years ago! We went to Singapore and Australia where we met some friends that had emigrated. You did an amazing job then so it was really good to hear that you are still in the business, congratulations

When the government announced that we were unable to travel on our planned holiday to Portugal, Lisa was really quick to offer alternatives, provide advice on places and hotels that had good Covid reports and regulations, and within 24 hours we were then heading to a fantastic resort in Greece which met all of our requirements. The resort carried out Covid checks on all residents, was incredibly clean and tidy with courteous and polite staff . Lisa also provided lots of guidance with all of the necessary forms that we had to complete for arrival in Greece and then back into the UK, altogether removing a lot of the stress that can go with organising a holiday

I have been using Lisa now for over 30 years for all my many, varied and sometimes complicated travel arrangements. Without doubt she is simply the best in the industry. Her knowledge, contacts and ability to always fulfill the needs of her customers is extraordinary and she never fails to deliver at a very high standard. I am always able to book with confidence knowing her attention to detail, and ability to overcome any problems will result in an excellent experience for me, and that she will always go that extra mile to ensure that happens. I simply would not use anyone else.

We have just returned from Vietnam and Cambodia and all I can say is AMAZING. You created the most amazing holiday ever. The hotels were all wonderful, everybody really helpful and friendly. Wide Eyed were extremely punctual where ever we were and the guides were knowledgeable, friendly and very clear with their English. For us the holiday was a holiday of a lifetime and the 3 weeks flew by. Halong Bay on the boat was incredible, we went Kyacking. at Ho Ann, cycling on Vietnamese roads. To the wonder and beauty of Cambodia. This held very sad stories. We were informed of various beliefs from the guides to their countries and living situations. The tempo of the holiday was just right and the only thing not in your control was the delayed internal flights that meant we reached our new hotel later than expected. Highly recommend everything about the holiday, your company and especially you for putting together such a wonderful memorable experience for us all.

We had a lovely holiday despite my medical issues. We were really grateful for all your planning and help with the flights. The special assistance was a God send. I am normally the planner in the family - but just wasn’t functioning as normal so was extremely grateful that you were to hand. When we mentioned to relatives that we were first thinking of making the trip of a lifetime to Thailand, they all told us that we needed to contact Lisa! They had used her services before and had such a great experiences that they couldn't recommend her enough! I rang her to see if she could help, and after a chat, she had an idea of what we wanted and went away to draw up a suggested itinery. We made some changes, added bits in, took bits out until we were really happy with the plan. Lisa was so supportive and helped when we needed advice on locations, tours etc. The holiday itself was AMAZING! Everything went according to plan, we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was the smoothest holiday we have ever had! Lisa organised everything so we didn't have to think - just follow the itinerary we had and enjoy!

We can't recommend Lisa from Travel Counsellors highly enough! The whole process has been absolutely fantastic - from looking at travel options, to booking & planning has been so smooth and easy. Even when we encountered some problems whilst actually on holiday, Lisa was there straight away to help us and sort things out. Communications and updates are frequent and nothing has been too much of a problem. It's been a breath of fresh air booking 2 holidays now through Travel Counsellors and is a very different experience to that of a standard high street travel agent. If you haven't booked a holiday through Travel Counsellors give it a go! I don't think you'll be disappointed!

The hotel was exceptional, the flights were perfectly timed and the island suited our need for culture and relaxation. Lisa really listened to what we wanted for this three day retreat. I've just recently used Lisa to help me organise a surprise trip to Rome. Just brilliant. Having never used a Travel Counsellor before I didn't really know what to expect, but she took care of everything from start to finish saving me having to check out hotels, wonder if they're were any good, sort flights, transfers and all that stuff that seems to take ages. The end result was that me and my wife had the most amazing trip and literally everything was spot on. It was all so simple leaving us to enjoy our time. Many congratulations! It really doesn't seem possible that you have been working in the travel industry for 34 years and it certainly doesn't seem possible that you took the franchise 20years ago. Thank you for all the advise and help that you have given Tony and I over the years. We always new that if you had booked everything we didn't need to worry. Of course, in recent years you have taken the rest of the family under your wing, for which I'm very grateful. Robert and Julia are now home from their trip having had a fantastic time

We have just returned from a long weekend in New York. It was a 5* service from beginning to end, through the initial booking of the hotel & flights to restaurant recommendations.
