3 night break in ‘The Thatched Barn’ in Smarden, Kent
We have always chosen accommodation fairly near to where we live so we never have to drive that far and we did the same again this time. We chose ‘The Thatched Barn’ in Smarden, Kent which was about a 50 minute drive from where we live so was the perfect location.
When we arrived we were just blown away as it was gorgeous, easily the best one we have stayed in. It was in a tiny little village with just houses, a couple of shops and a pub but near to other larger towns if you should need them.
As always, other than a visit to the local pub for lunch and a few drinks, we hardly did anything whilst we there and we had such a lovely relaxing time! We had already bought all of the food and the drink that we needed for our three nights so we didn’t even need to leave the house!
The barn had a kitchen, open plan living and dining room, two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and another small sleeping area. It had one main bathroom and two en-suite bathrooms, a small games room and a lovely outside seating area.
This was a lovely break in a beautifully converted barn in lovely peaceful surroundings.
These types of accommodations are available all over the UK and all through the year for stays from two nights upwards. If you are interested in booking something similar to this please just let me know as I would be happy to help.
