Aurora to the Norwegian Fjords

I have recently returned from my onw holiday with P&O Cruises onboard Aurora. I left Southampton for a 12 night Fjords cruise with 9 days of ports and scenic cruising and 3 days at sea. We were lucky with smooth seas on the way to and from Norway and sunshine whilst we were there. Aurora is one of the 2 smaller adult only ships P&O have, Aurora sails from Southampton all year round, a wide choice of destinations and durations. Shorter cruises up to 7 nights to Europe, long cruises to Norway, Baltic Capitals, Iceland, Canary Islands, Spain and Portugal as well as Mediterranean. Aurora will also go in search of the Norther Lights and fantastic long 75 night cruise to South America. Something in that selection for everyone

Cabins: As you would expect Aurora has a choice of cabins for all budgets. Inside, Outside, Balcony and lovely suites. Not forgetting a number of single cabins and adapted cabins.

Dining: You certainly won't starve onboard. The Horizon Buffet offers a relaxed style of eating venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks. Deck snack can be found at the Lido Grill plus ice cream too (charge applies), 2 main dining rooms Medina for Freedom dining and Alexandria for fixed 1st of 2nd dining. 3 extra restaurants which carry a cover charge. Sindu (Indian) Glass House (Gastro Pub) and The Beech House (BBQ, Steak Grill and fish) Afternoon tea can be found in The Horizon or in one of the main restaurants.

What's onboard: So much for you enjoy, bars and lounges both inside and out on deck, Gym, Sports Court, Spa, Deck Games, Sports Bar, swimming pools (one with a retractable roof) shops, Library, Card Room, Art Gallery, 2 show lounges for entertainment, guest acts and dancing.
